Bio
I like to define myself with a few key life moments. I was a Navy brat, a scientist, and a teacher. I am a former biology teacher turned data analyst. My background in science education has guided my data research into a focus on both science and education.
Education
I graduated high school where the mascot was a giant piece of corn. In my undergraduate career, I studied biology and did my own research project where I did data analysis with my data. I carried these analytical skills into my masters where I studied zoology and did research with insects. I finally got a masters in secondary education that I used to harness my ability to explain things to a variety of students with different backgrounds.
